I hope you are at the forefront of the iniative to donate money towards these renovations. Often, property owners can no longer afford to gentrify their properties to impress theri new yuppie neighbors.

This is a second empty property located in the 800 block of Rex Ave. As I state concerning 804 Rex; this property is another eye sore. I hope with this new initiate by the City, they will be able to get the property owners to sell or renovate their properties for habitation. The property owners who live in Washington Park and take pride in their neighborhood don’t want to come home everyday to see abandoned homes right next door to them.
